Recent variety first known as the "Cherokee Sausage" from the cross of "Cherokee Purple" and "Sausage" developed by Markus Wessel, USA.
Fruits from 120 to 200 grams more or less elongated and can end in a point.
Skin is purple with greenish shoulders.
Paste meat containing little gel and seeds. Very sweet. Versatile use, good in salad or cooked for producing sauce or coulis.
Vigorous plants with large development, dense foliage, indeterminate growth.
Very good production of second half of the season until first frost.
