Rare heirloom from Russia. First presented in the Seed Savers Yearbook in 2005 by Luc Fichot (Belgium).
The translation of the name, "American Sweet". However, this does not necessarily mean that it is an American tomato. In Russia, tomatoes are more often named to other countries. The exact origin is uncertain.

Bright pink oval tomatoes weighing an average of 70 to 90 grams.

Thick and firm juicy flesh with a floury texture.
Very sweet taste, high sugar content.
Ideal tomato for cooking, excellent for sauces and coulis.

Indeterminate growing plants of 2 + m - 7ft with regular foliage.

High yields from mid-season.
