Very recent variety, produced as part of the "Dwarf Tomato Project". Obtained from the cross between 'Golden Dwarf Champion' and 'Green Giant', made in 2006 by Patrina Nuske Small in Australia and named by Craig Lehoullier after the gemstone Beryl.
Round green skinned fruits from 100 to 150 grams with a pink blossom end when fully ripe.
Bright green juicy flesh very sliglthy marbled in pink with a good balanced taste. Delicious.
Compact dwarf plants (1,2m / 4ft) with thick stems,sturdy build tree type with deep green rugose potatoleaf foliage.
Very productive starting from mid season.
NB: for better production it is advisable to grow this variety allowing several stems. Can be grown in big pots but the yield and fruit size will be reduced.
