I give anything that lives through our summer 5 star.
Especially this summer, hot very dry
Overnight temps rarely dipped below
On top of that humidity, rain squalls just enough to encourage rot but not get ground wet.
Inspite of this only one of these peppers so far.
Had to be trashed and as of now the plants are thick with peppers.
Other strains of peppers have not delt
With weather as well and these seeds had to grow here, as their parents were grown
Couldn't have asked for a harder first year
To have them adapt to this climate.
So this ones got my 5 star, peppers are as described turning a beautiful deep red when ripe and a sweet yet strong pepper
Heirloom from Sicily, Italy.
Long red curved elongated fruits from 10 to 15 cm.
Ripens from green to red.
Very sweet cripsy flesh with a very rich sweet pepper flavor.
Medium sized plants (2ft - 60cm)
Very high yields starting from mid- season.
