Heirloom from the US, developed by Ary Platfoot from Ohio. First introduced to the public in 1996.
Also known as 'Brandywine Yellow Platfoot Strain'
Improved variant (yield and smoother skin) of the regular 'Brandywine Yellow' developed in 1991 by Charles Knoy, Indiana, USA.

Flattened and often slightly ribbed on the shoulders, yellow/orange beefsteak type tomatoes from an average of 350 to sometimes +500 gr.

Dens yellow/orange beefsteak flesh with a creamy texture. Excellent rich taste, sweet and sour well balanced.

Indeterminate growing plants with potato foliage.
A property typical of 'Brandywine' tomatoes.

Average yields (but high quality fruits) in the second part of the season.
