Capsicum annuum, a giant cayenne type. Originally created in Italy, it emigrated to the US where it was first cultivated near Toronto. From there it landed in the hands of "Joe Sestito", Troy, New York. Dr. Carolyn Male intruduced this strain in 1996 in the SSE.
Thin long red fruits from 20 to +25 cm.
Ripens from green to red.
Thin cripsy fleshed, perfect for flaking. Medium heat, softer then the regular (smaller) cayenne.
Medium large bushy plants (1m - 3,3ft) with very good yields.
