Top beefsteak tomato, sadly it was poor when i had to plant out in greenhouse so it got a place outside instead. It has produced some great tomatoes despite of its fortune but I'm sure it will have done much better if it had a better start. One which I will grow again.
New from 2016, Brad Gates creation, Wild Boar Farm, USA. Sister of "Blue Beauty".
Fruits from 120 to 150 grams, beefsteak type.
Epidermis splashed with traces of anthocyanin that contrasts well with its clear epidermis that changes from yellow to orange when the fruits mature.
Very fleshy yellow-orange beefsteak meat marbled with red in the center. Few seeds.
Sweet and fruity flavor reminiscent of the best classic bi-color varieties.
Very good fruit conservation on the plant or once picked, some fruits even get a better taste!
Good to very good production rather in second part of season. Good tolerance to heat.
