Information

This tomato variety was discovered around the 1960s by Madame Garnier at a market in Savigny sur Orge, Essone, France. Year after year she cultivated this variety again, together with Patrick Saint Aubin, a collector from Montlhéry.

Large red often strongly ribbed beefsteak type fruits with a fruit weight of 300gram up to 1 kg.

Juicy red beefsteak flesh with a well-balanced sweet vs acidity. Typical taste of old-fashioned red tomatoes.

Indeterminate growing plants of +2 m - 7ft, regular foliage.
Higher than the original Marmande and much better yields from mid-season.
