Old heirloom, grown since the middle of the last century in North Carolina, USA.

Oval/elongated chocolate-colored tomatoes with dark green shoulders. Typical small nipple at the bottom. Average fruit weight 50 to 80 grams.

Very firm flesh with a rich flavor typical of brown/black varieties.
Perfect sauce tomato.

Indeterminate growing plants with regular foliage.

High yields from mid-season.
