Information

Capsicum annuum from Nayarit State, Central Mexico. Also known under the names "Cora" and "Ladybug".

Small ovoid-teardrop-shaped red fruits.

Ripening from green to red.

Medium hot pepper with a fruity, smoky and earthy aroma.
Extremely suitable as a dry pepper, is very often used as a powder.
The seeds rattle inside the fruits when the peppers are dried in their original form, just like the "Cascabel (group)" pepper that the "Catarina" pepper resembles.

Shrubs about 90 to 120 cm - 3ft to 4ft high with decent yields in the second part of the season.
