Information

Rare old variety from Lyon, Rhône region, France.
Already quoted in 1932 under the synonym 'Énorme de Masson' in the catalog of Carron J.L.
Became known and very commonly cultivated around the 1950's under the name 'Monstrueuse de Lyon'.

Medium to large round red beefsteak type fruits, lightly ribbed at the shoulders. Average fruit weight from 200 to 400 gr.

Firm juicy beefsteak flesh with an excellent old fashioned red tomato flavour.

Vigorous indeterminate growing plants with regular foliage.

Decent yields in the second part of the season.
