Information

Variety originating in New Jersey, USA. It is assumed to be the result of the accidental crossing of "Wonder Light" with "Persimmon" or "Pineapple". Originally Wonder Light was cultivated between two rows of "Persimmon" and "Ananas". It was the following year that Tom Micholas was growing the seeds of Wonder light and found out that they were not conform giving fruit to various shapes and colors. He continued to stabilize from 2005 to 2008 to obtain a stable fruit today. Presented at the Seed Savers Yearbook in 2008.

Large beefsteak fruits of 200 to 500 grams, flattened to ribbed and / or curved shoulders.

Pale yellow color with a pink blush on the apical part at maturity.

Pale yellow beefsteak flesh marbled with pink, multiloge.

Excellent flavor, at full maturity it will express this most intensely.

Large indeterminate plants.
