Information

Developed by Elbert Carman, first presented in Thornburn's catalog in 1893, USA.

Yellow, often round beefsteak type tomatoes with sometimes a pink blush.
The first fruits of the plants have little or no blush.
As the season progresses this becomes more pronounced.

The shape and size of the fruits are irregular.

Yellow beefsteak flesh with pink influences later in the season.
Firm and juicy flesh with a nice mild fruity sweet/sour taste.

Vigorous indeterminate growing plants with regular foliage.

Decent yields quite early in the season.
