I have had The Grinch growing in a pot on my terrace for many years. I really love the taste of green tomatoes. This low-growing plant is quite something! It has produced reliably well for me over the years, but tends to burst during periods of high humidity. This year, it took a bit of a break in late summer, but then picked up again in October. It will fill a pot again next year.

Taste is below avarage and yield is little. Cool-looking small green tomatoes, but that’s all. Not growing again next year.

Information

Recent variety, the work of Keith Mueller.

Do not confuse with "Grinch Dwarf Cherry" which has the same characteristics but is potato foliage and especially "Dwarf".

Green fruits with clear and shiny skin, almost transparent. Round cherry pear-shaped more or less with a marked trend.

Juicy flesh and very sweet flavor.  Wait until the fruits are covered with a light amber blush, then the flavor is optimal.

vigorous plant with great development, indeterminate growth.

Excellent production, regular until first frost.
